Mr. Mackey, first, thank you for your service to our country. Second, thank you for putting together this book. Granted, as one other reviewer noted, it is a little rough around the edges, but with some additional time it will be a good reference.

I’m glad I read this book! It makes me appreciate store bought beer. I’ll never again feel bad about spending money on beer. This book is very educational about teaching how many steps there are and how many days of processing it takes to actually make beer. For someone with the time and interest in making their own brew this would be a great book to learn all the steps from the equipment to buy all the way to turning up the bottle with your first chug.

Needs improvement.
Cons: Typos, repeated information, lack of organizational tools, poorly worded sentences. Book seems to be very new and unrefined. Needs some massaging from an editor. Images do not work on the kindle app in my Nexus 7.

Pros: Seems to have a lot of good info and takes one through the process beginning to end. Real world tips and process from an actual brewer.
