I use mine to brew beer. I had a 15 gallon stainless brew pot that worked okay, but the 20 gallon version is great for my “10 gallon” batches. However, I’ve been doing more like 12 gallon batches, which means 14 or 15 gallons of water, so the 20 gives me enough headspace to be comfortable.

The silicone seals around the ballcock valve and thermometer can be a little finicky but I got that sorted out. I would recommend you have spare seals on hand, because Murphy’s Law indicates you’ll find out there’s a problem right before you need them.

I recently purchased the 20 gallon stainless steel brewing pot with thermometer and 1/2 inch valve. Overall, I’m very pleased with the product. It arrived from the distribution center pretty quickly and was in great shape. Putting the weldless thermometer and valve into the pot was easy. Overall, I’m really pleased with this purchase and would recommend to other brewers whether their brewing 5 or 15 gallon batches.

The photo of this makes it look really cheap and flimsy. This is actually a well constructed pot of far better quality than many which are much more expensive. The thermometer and and ball cock are top quality, too.
