This is a great documentary and very unique. The film crew interviews an old woman who is the brewer in an African village. She says that she has made beer for years and shows all the steps she goes through to make beer from raw millet. She shows how to malt, mash, boil, and ferment the grain all using only some woven strainers and clay pots. The only thing that was not explained was where the yeast came from. She dumped about a gallon of yeast into a big pot of beer. The beer then started to ferment almost immediately and the beer…
