Excellent value. My pot arrived in about a week … Excellent value. My pot arrived in about a week after ordering. Bulkheads were attached already (but needed to be tightened). Use LOTS of Teflon tape and leak check. It’s a very fine line between over tightening and under tightening the orings.high temp silicon washers would be better if you want to make it easier but I got mine to seal. OK but wouldn’t buy again The kettle itself is pretty good. The hardware is not great. The thermometer that I received was off by about 10 degrees and had no way to calibrate. Concord was quick to replace this and sent me one that can be calibrated, but it’s not a Concord brand one. The bulkhead for the thermometer and valve are good quality materials but it doesn’t work. It’s a 1/2″ to 1/2″ M to F coupler and there is nothing to seal the threads of the coupler. I had to wrap the outside of the coupler with pipe…

extremely difficult to seal w/ cheap silicone washers update: i rec’d my pot w/ a ding in the corner which was the original reason for 3 stars. other than that i was pleased w/ my pot as well as the valve that comes w/ it is very good quality.
