The different colored bones come from the all-natural spent brewing grain and are dependent on the beer style that was brewed. For example, a Stout beer will have a much darker grain bill which will make a dark, hearty treat.

The Process – From Beer to Dog Treats

The beer brewing process begins by mashing malted barley in warm water. During this time, the starch in the barley is converted to fermentable sugars.

Next, the fermentable sugars are separated from the barley (now spent) and are drained into the boil kettle to eventually become beer.

The spent malted barley is now ready to be baked into treats in an FDA-approved commercial kitchen. Once baked, the treats are shipped to Partnerships With Industry, a San Diego-based non profit company that provides employment to adults with disabilities, to be packaged and delivered to your best friend!

Cute idea ! Bought for a clients puppies birthdayLove the idea of it and it came in time and was a good price. Would buy again. Only issue which isn’t huge but still annoyed me a little was the scan sticker was right on front where you see inside the bag and you can’t easily just peel and rip it off so giving it as a gift is hope for it to look clean and that sticker takes away from that in my opinion

Bulldog approved! A friend of mine brought these treats back from a partner brewery and my dog loves them. The trainer asked me not to give them to her so that she could use them in training. The dog will do anything for these treats. When I ran out, I wasn’t sure what I was going to do. The trainer kept asking me to get more but the brewery was too far. Amazon to the rescue. The only issue I have with these treats is they cause my dog to drool puddles while she waits patiently to be rewarded 😉

Doggie and Mommy approved! Our doggies are such huge fans of Doggie Beer Bones and highly recommend them to any treat-loving pup. The all-natural product ingredients in these bones give me great peace of mind when feeding them to our furry loved ones, but they also have a twist of fun to them knowing that they are from (non-alcoholic) products used to make some incredible San Diego brews. It can be difficult to know the difference between what dogs like and what they love since they eat almost anything, but we know we…
