This journal has been created especially for home brewers who like to keep track of their batches, and log the outcome of every brewing experiment.

Besides the antique look, everything in this notebook has a function; from reference charts to tasting notes. It took 9 months to develop the Brew Journal, from concept to launch. Why so long? Because we fine tuned several aspects during this process. Now, the final product counts with: 100+ Hops Charts, 90+ Yeast Strains Chart, Unit Conversion Table, Color Reference Alcohol By Volume Reference Chart, Glassware Reference Chart, Space for 70+ recipes and a Pen Holder. The Brew Journal is made with PU leather – the closest material to real leather and it has a really nice fell to it, besides the antique look. It’s the perfect place for your craft beer recipes!

Nice idea, easily damaged I bought this book as a gift for my fiance. It is really gorgeous leather, with a lot of useful references in the front and really nice layout on the written pages. It has a nice table of contents.Unfortunately, after he opened it the first time the binding cracked in the back and now the pages are separated from the spine in the back half.

BeerSmith works great, but I want a hard copy for reference … It’s important to keep track of your brewing if you want to improve, or if you want to be able to repeat your successes. Well, this is THE brew journal. I’ve been brewing for 9+ years and have used many things to keep track of my brew days. BeerSmith works great, but I want a hard copy for reference and something to track each step better. I’ve tried other logs, made spreadsheets, etc, but NONE of them are as helpful as this log. There are a bunch of great reference sheets and guides that help,…

Fantastic journal could use a little work Extremely useful, there are a few things I would have loved for this to include such as a strike temp equations, a slightly different layout for ingredients, a little more space on the brewing notes(aka extend the lines all the way across), brewhouse efficiency equations, and target SG. As well as some space for all of those. Maybe reducing the amount of space for Hop, yeast, and fermentation notes so as to include space for the calculations.
